The Mission

RDSpace@UBT is the institutional repository for digital research data at the University of Bayreuth.
Designed as a cross-disciplinary repository for the storage and publication of research data from scientific studies and projects, the service focuses on ensuring the traceability, reproducibility and transparency of research results from scientific disciplines that do not yet have their own discipline-specific infrastructures for research data management. In addition, the visibility of research data as an independent publication should also create the possibility of reusing scientific data for new research approaches.
As a central service for the university members, access to and the long-term availability of their stored and published datasets is to be guaranteed in accordance with the FAIR principles for the benefit of science.

The Key Features

RDSpace@UBT provides university members with the possibility of uploading research data via its web portal, assembling it into data packages, describing it with metadata, storing it on a long-term basis and making it publicly accessible.
